Children's MRT
As a radiation-free, pain-free and low-risk examination method, MRI is particularly well suited for the diagnosis of small patients. However, since children have a different anatomy and psychology than adults, an MRI scan in children is always a challenge. Our trained staff will lovingly take care of your child, explain the examination to suit your child and involve you as parents intensively in the examination process. It doesn't hurt at all ... I promise! There are various imaging methods available for injuries and illnesses to prevent injury-related injuries or make pathological changes in the body visible. An MRI examination is ideally suited for this purpose as an examination for children. It is painless and low-risk and has a unique diagnostic value. In contrast to X-rays or computed tomography, the MRI examination is done with the help of magnetic fields and not through the use of X-rays. Your child is therefore not exposed to radiation. The special recording technique requires that you lie still during the 15-minute examination. As a rule, our medical technicians manage to take very good pictures of the little patients without the use of a sedative. There is also the possibility, if there are no contraindications, that a parent accompanies the child during the examination. We will take the time for you. We react just as sensitively and flexibly to the condition of your child in our diagnostic center: we take the time for the examination that you and your child need. All risks are weighed here and everything is explained to you and your child very precisely and child-friendly. The radiologist will answer any questions you have on this occasion. Our goal is to take away your worries and fears. Because we know: If you are not afraid, your child usually does not have one.
